A restored 1890s Victorian mansion turned bed-and-breakfast in the heart of Moundsville, within walking distance of the penitentiary and the mound.
The Lancaster Mansion was built in 1892 for a local glass-factory owner and now operates as a four-room bed-and-breakfast. Guests get a full country breakfast and run of the wraparound porch. It's a short walk to the West Virginia Penitentiary, Grave Creek Mound, and downtown Moundsville.
